Wreath Building: Stamped Die Cuts Over an Embossing Folder
The holiday season is arguably everyone’s favorite time of year to create—myself included! October kicks off the major holiday releases over at Simon Says Stamp…. and the new Sugar and Spice collection has so many beautiful creative products in it! This card features a creative way to repeat stamp and die cut images to form a wreath.
I used Printmaking Leaves to stamp and die cut all of these lovely pieces—the leaves are stamped with Sky, Dusk, and Night Pawsitively Saturated Inks for a frosty blue color palette. To add some fullness to my wreath, I layered the leaves onto an embossed background that was created with the Festive Wreath embossing folder.
This card is very monochromatic, but for a nice pop I adde a gold sentiment that was stamped and heat embossed from the Inside Greetings Holiday stamp and die set. The red bow that I added from Pretty Bows 2 (a die set I created for Simon Says Stamp) was the perfect little accent!
