3 Ways to Use Patterned Paper on Cards! Simon Says Stamp’s July 2025 Card Kit

My latest cards all use the new July 2025 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp called Through the Window—and I’m particularly excited about this because I designed the stamps, dies, and stencil that are included in this month’s kit!
I used the window dies to make things this shaker card, which is backed with the In the City patterned paper from the kit. Inside the shaker are little star sequins that are exclusive to the kit.
This dramatic cityscape with rainy streets is such a beautiful sheet of patterned paper! I kept the design for this one clean and modern. The paper is cut with the Squovals dies from Simon Says Stamp and I stamped the dragonfly image from the Through the Window set onto the paper with blue ink. The sparkly stars really complemented the colors of the paper and really give this scene that glimmering, wet-street-feel.
My third card uses the window dies and patterned paper, but I built my own, customized scene on the paper with the stamps and stencil from the kit. I loved how the cherry blossoms from the paper framed up my scene perfectly! Behind the window is an embossed panel that I created with the Floating Flowers folder from Simon Says Stamp.
