4 Ways to Use New Tim Holtz Idea-ology Patterned Papers
I was very excited to create with the new Tim Holtz Idea-ology “from the vault” paper collection! There are 6 new pads of paper, available as 8×8 or 12×12 packs and they are GORGEOUS! I’m using 4 of the paper collections to create the projects I am sharing today.
This elegant card uses the French Industrial paper collection, which I used as the backdrop for the Palette Ephemera piece that is my focal point. There is some splattering on the paper and I added some embellishments with a postage stamp sticker and metallic droplets.
This masculine card features a tag on top of a 5×7 card—I used the Dapper collection for this one. I love how that paired so beautifully with the Gentlemen die set from Tim Holtz, which I cut with black cardstock (the umbrella uses Matte Champagne cardstock). I added some stitching detail with rub-ons, ephemera, and buttons from a Tim Holtz pack and my own personal stash.
I loved the Wallflower paper collection and it made a gorgeous tag! All I had to do to create this beauty was add a couple of ephemera pieces from the Palette collection, plus some ribbon and twine! Super easy, yet truly pretty!
This mixed media panel would also make a great card! I used the beautiful Memorandum paper collection behind the Tim Holtz Photo Studio frame. The paper doll and ephemera pieces are also from Tim’s Idea-ology collection. I especially love the feather that I cut from some Shimmer Vellum—this is from Tim’s Lovebirds die set and adds a nice touch behind the ephemera.
I hope you are inspired by all of these projects using the Tim Holtz Idea-ology paper collection!
