Stamping with My Newest Set: A Book-Themed Birthday Card! Plus Simon Says Stamp’s Release Hop!
I am very excited to share my newest set for Simon Says Stamp with you—the One for the Books stamp and die set! It is part of Simon’s new Favorite Things collection.
I love reading and thought this would be a great theme to have for cards. With sweet sentiments such as “here’s to your next chapter” and “you’re the best in my book”, the greetings tie in the book theme while also stating something meaningful and from the heart.
With the One for the Books set, I also used the new Floral Butterfly Bouquets embossing folder to create a background. The pretty sequins are from the new Pastel Ice mix (so pretty!). The leafy greens coming out from behind the book were from an older Simon Says Stamp die set that I have loved called Privet Branch. That added a nice touch of color to the card.
