The new DieCember® collection from Simon Says Stamp has some really beautiful dies in it! I was really inspired by the Snowflake Sensation dies and ended up making 2 cards from 1 die cutting session. These cards feature the main die cuts as well as the negatives, creating very little waste—which is always a good thing!

On this card, I used the outline pieces of the Snowflake Sensation to create a mirrored “peppermint” design! I enhanced the layout with Dazzling Gems in both Cherry and Clear. The sentiments were created with the Fancy Peace dies and Simon’s new Joy EZ Strips and die.

My second card uses the “negative” pieces of the Snowflake Sensation die, which I used to form a cluster in the middle of my card. I die cut the panel they are sitting on from Simon’s A2 Marquee dies and added Dazzling Gems for some embellishment. The sentiment is from the new Christmas Cheer stamp and die set. I also added some pretty velvet ribbon as a trimming across the top corners of the card!
