I am excited to share an edge to edge shaker card I made with a new stencil set I designed for Simon Says Stamp called Sunflower Pattern—it’s part of their new Cheering for You release! I used the stencil to create a background for my shaker, which I enhanced by adding some embossing to it—the embossing folder is the new Fresh Blooms. The embossed details create a lot of texture and emphasize the sunflower theme.
The card also features the new Reverse Birthday Wishes on Black sentiment strips, which I foiled with gold foil. I filled my shaker with sequins from the new Garden Blooms mix and that little touch of ribbon is a perfect complement to the card!
Love this new technique, but I’m new to all this. When I looked in the supply list, it showed the clear bags. Do you cut one down to size and use it for the front of the card where you put the embellishments in? That’s a terrible sentence, sorry and thanks!
I absolutely love your card. Thank you for sharing your talent.

This is so lovely! It has a really pretty, vintage feel to it. I love your card, Nina!
