3 Ways to Elevate Patterned Paper + Simon’s August 2024 Card Kit
I really enjoy using patterned paper on my cards—and sometimes it can be fun to enhance the paper with other mediums and techniques! I’m using the Simon Says Stamp August 2024 Card Kit to make the cards that I am sharing.
This card is my favorite of all three that I created. It features some of the Paper Rose Botanical Blooms patterned paper from the kit and I paired it with the Blossom Swag embossing folder.
Another card I created using the patterned paper from the kit—this one uses the Graceful Flowers stamp set and I used Copic markers to color the stamped images I added on top of the paper.
The dramatic design of this paper sheet was so good, I did not want to take away from its beauty. So I kept it simple and just used a section of the backside of the Botanical Blooms paper to make a border along the bottom of the sheet. I also added a dyed bow that I made with the ribbon and Distress Spritz that is included in the kit.
