Ink Smooshing with Distress Inks and Oxides + New Tim Holtz Distress Color!

It’s always exciting when Tim Holtz debuts a new color to his Distress collection! I’m using the new Scorched Timber Distress collection to create this card that has a lot of texture and depth. In addition, I used Tim Holtz ephemera as well as some stamps, dies, and an embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp.

The Rose Winged Butterfly die was a beautiful focal point for this card; I accented it with Palette Ephemera pieces from Tim Holtz. The background of my card was made with a mix of Distress Oxide and Distress Inks (including the new Scorched Timber color), and I embossed it with Simon’s Leaf Tumble embossing folder.
