Clear Overlay Card + Simon’s New Dear Friend Release!

I love adding unexpected elements to a card—this project utilizes a clear overlay that my sentiment is attached to, giving the card a light and airy feel. This project also features new products from Simon Says Stamp’s Dear Friend release.

I used the new So Happy for You Both die set for my greeting, but you could easily swap that out for any sentiment you choose. I also incorporated the Modern Postage dies behind the greeting with vellum to give some separation from the background. Those pieces are sitting on the clear overlay.

The stenciling on the cards are from Simon’s Boho Circle and Spring Boho Circle stencils—two of my all-time favorite stencils from Simon! I also added some of the new Peony sequins on my card for a pop of sparkle.
