4 Gift Card Ideas with Simon’s Limited Edition Gift Card Kit
I feel like the present we most often buy at this time of year are gift cards; and what better way to “wrap” them than to make a handmade gift card holder? I’m using Simon Says Stamp’s Limited Edition Gift Card Kit to make a series of elegant, glittery holders. Each feature contents from the kit, as well as a few additional products that are must haves!
I used Simon’s new Gift Card Pocket Envelope and Giant Gift Bow die sets (both of which I designed for Simon!), to make these shiny gift card holders. I also used the Scalloped Tags die set from Simon to make the coordinating tags. These holders were both built and decorated with contents from the kit.
I love these little sleeve gift card pockets! I stenciled some stars from the new Baubles stencil set (included in the kit, and another product I designed!). I added glitter die cuts—the sentiment is from the Scalloped Tags die set and the star is from the Holy Star die set.
On one of the red envelopes included in the kit, I gold embossed poinsettias from the Holiday Gift Giving stamp set. The cute wreath embellishment is an adornment from Tim Holtz which I covered with silver Foundry Wax. There are also splatters on the envelope that I created with the Iron Gate Mica Stain (also included in the kit).
For this sparkly gift card holder, I made an envelope and card set. The Fir Branches die cuts were made from silver glitter paper; I added gold half pearls on top for added shine. The Baubles stencil set allowed me to make this cute ornament that I layered on top. All of these looks beautiful paired with the clear mini envelope that I decorated in addition to the card.
