2 Inking Techniques with Simon’s October 2022 Card Kit!
The new Simon Says Stamp October 2022 Card Kit has me feeling all the fall vibes. I made some cards and a set of tags with the kit contents, which feature two fun inking techniques!
For my first technique, I used ink to color an embossing folder! The cards use the Fresh Daisies embossing folder, which I applied Citrine and Mandarin Pawsitively Saturated Inks over top of before running my cardstock through the folder. After embossing, I used the Pearfection color of ink and added some extra color around the edges. The cards are embellished with sequins and Mica Stain splatters. A sentiment from the Sunflower Fields stamp set and some twine (both included in the kit), finished everything off perfectly!
I also created some tags with the kit contents (you get a whole stack of fall-inspired kraft tags); this projects features a color blocking technique by dragging ink pads across the cardstock. These colors look amazing on the kraft paper. You could use this idea on a card instead of a tag, too!
