3 Ways to Use Simon’s March 2022 Card Kit
In the March 2022 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp there are some darling bunny themed products and I was so inspired by them that I created 3 different cards with the kit!
The first card I created uses one of the adorable coloring cards; I colored it with Copics, then fussy cut it out so I could put patterned paper behind it. The patterned paper is from the Wildflower Field collection from Paper Rose. I added a greeting from the Hoppy Days Ahead stamp set and glued a big pom pom on the side of the bunny for a cute embellishment (the pom poms come in the kit, too)!
The Copic colors I used for this card were:
- Blues: B00, B01
- Pinks: RV000, RV10, RV11, RV13
- Yellows: Y11, Y13, Y15
- Greens: G14, G19, YG11, YG13, YG17, YG41, YG45
- Grays: C0, C2
My second card uses the sweet Hoppy Days Ahead stamp set; I stamped the nuzzling bunnies and colored them with Copic markers. After cutting them out, I adhered them onto a background that I built from the Wildflower Field patterned paper. I tied a bit of twine around the background and added small pom poms to the bunny tails. My favorite part of this card is the addition of some moss around the bunnies! It creates that perfect “ground” for them to sit on.
For my third card, I again stamped and colored the pair of hugging bunnies before cutting them out. I adhered them onto a floral paper from the Wildflower Field collection that I cut from Simon’s Chunky A2 Scalloped Rectangles die set. The moss on my second card looked so adorable, I did the same thing on this one, which helps ground the bunnies. A sentiment is stamped onto the Lavender cardstock (included in the kit), and I embellished the card with a few clear confetti sequins.
This March 2022 Card Kit, Hoppy Days Ahead was so much fun to create with! If you are interested in the kit, be sure to check it out here.
