Hot Foiling with Simon’s STAMPtember 2021 Release + Using Patterned Paper!
I have featured many hot foiling techniques here on my blog and YouTube channel and this project is extra-special because it showcases one of the NEW hot foil plates from Simon Says Stamp! In celebration of STAMPtember® 2021, Simon has debuted many new stamps, dies, stencils, hot foil plates, embossing folders, ink pads… the list is extensive!! SO much good stuff. I am using the Etched Tall Leaf Spray die with the Love hot foil plate, and one of the new sentiment strip packs!
I die cut the Etched Tall Leaf Spray from Craft Consortium patterned paper; this sheet was part of the Ink Drops Dusk collection. Such a stunning paper collection! I accented my card with gold splatter, which tied nicely with the gold on the patterned paper. Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stain in Tarnished Brass was the ink used for the splattering.
For the hot foiling, I chose Gemini Gold Foil; when I foiled the Love hot foil plate, it left me with this stunning sentiment that pairs perfectly with a Simon Says Stamp sentiment strip. The sentiment I used is from the new Reverse All the Thanks pack.
