10 Minute Card: Embossed Paper Strips with Simon’s September Card Kit
The September 2021 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp was recently released and I’ve already shared one project using it! I enjoyed this kit so much that I wanted to create a second card. This one is a bit simpler and quicker than the detailed, no-line colored pencil project I shared prior. In fact it’s so simple that you can make it in just 10 minutes!
I started by cutting strips from the cardstocks that are included in the kit. Once I had adhered them in a pattern onto another piece of cardstock, I stamped and clear embossed one of the floral images from the Sunshine Flowers set. The embossing looks gorgeous on the colored cardstocks!
I die cut a circle into a cardstock panel that I layered over my paper pieced floral background. I added a greeting from the Sunshine Flowers stamp set, along with some sequins that are part of the Rainbow Bright mix from Simon.
This simple card is colorful and a great way to use many of the kit’s beautiful contents! If you haven’t seen the new September Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp, I would highly recommend checking it out!
