Emboss Resist Rainbow Watercolor

I was wanting to play with some particular products lately, including the Simon Says Stamp Repeating Rainbows cling and my Karin watercolor markers. I always love a good rainbow, so I thought it would be fun to do an emboss resist with the Repeating Rainbows stamp and color the background with a rainbow of markers. The result is striking, bold – and I love it!
I enhanced this colorful background with some shimmery splatters, which are made with Brutus Monroe’s Shimmer Mist Spray; I love how they catch the light.
My card features a sentiment from the Small Script Trio die set from Simon Says Stamp. I cut the word “thanks” from white cardstock and layered it onto a black strip. A final embellishment included some sparkly sequins from Simon’s Galaxy mix.
This card was easy to make, but it packs quite the colorful punch, and I LOVE all the vibrant colors resisted by the white embossing powder. SO cool!
