Have you tried Alcohol Lift Ink? I love this ink pad! Using this lifting technique allows me to have fun with my Alcohol Inks in a whole new way. Today I am using this ink pad along with Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks, and a couple of Gina K. Designs stamp sets to make some colorful and unique cards!
This card project is a fun one to mass produce – I actually made 4 of these! Using Alcohol Inks, I created colorful backgrounds that I then stamped with Alcohol Lift Ink and the Better Together floral stamp set. Around the ghosted florals, I foiled a Spellbinders dotted frame. For the foiling, I chose gold and silver. The foil colors then coordinate with the embossed sentiment and florals that are layered onto the panel.
The greetings are from the Just Add Color set, which I stamped onto a Nested Oval die cut. Behind the oval is another Better Together floral, this time embossed onto vellum.
I finished up the cards by adding some Gina K. Designs Solid Quartz sequins and mounting the colorful panels onto white card bases. These elegant cards would be so much fun to package as a gift for someone – or send to loved ones as bright happy mail!
I hope you will try this technique out! It’s really fun and simple to do, and you can customize these even further by changing up the colors used on these cards. Play around with your Alcohol Inks and create some amazing combos!

I absolutely love, love, love these cards, as well as the technique, Nina! They are gorgeous! I am trying to figure out which of the alcohol ink colors linked that you used on each card so I can try to make some of my own to send out to friends and family. Relative to the alcohol inks that come in a set….do the 3 inks in each set typically mix/blend together?
