Using Stamps & Stencils to Create Layers + Slimline Card + Kit!

Sometimes you don’t need a ton of dimensional layers to create the look of depth! With a bit of strategic ink blending, stenciling and stamping, you can get a cool layered effect – and it’s so easy! I’m using contents from the new Simon Says Stamp February 2021 Card Kit to make this slimline card.
I grabbed three Simon inks – Doll Pink, Teeny Bikini and Duckling – and blended them through the Tumbling Hearts stencil. I then used the heart image from Love You Beary Much to stamp multiple hearts to layer against the stenciled ones.
The Love You Beary Much set has a darling bear in it, which I stamped and colored with Copic markers. Over his pink heart I added some Glossy Accents so that I could sprinkle Unicorn Confetti glitter overtop. This bear is then layered onto my ink blended panel. That panel also has a sentiment stamped on it (also from the Love You Beary Much set).
No card is complete without a coordinating envelope to mail it in! I thought it would be fun to mirror the ink blending from the card panel on my slimline envelope. This creates a truly custom look that makes the card extra-special.
Be sure to grab one of these new February 2021 Card Kits! They are jam-packed with some much goodness and value; I enjoy creating with each and every one of them!
