No Line Watercolor Flowers [Featuring Simon Says Stamp]
The whimsical style of these flowers were begging me to watercolor them! No line is one of my favorite ways to watercolor and I really love how these pretty florals from the So Beautiful stamp look colored in this style.
I always stamp with Antique Linen Distress Ink before no line watercoloring. I then used the Prima Watercolor Confections palettes in Terrain and Currents to color in the flowers. Afterwards, I fussy cut the images so that I could pop this floral cluster up and create depth to my finished card.
I also layered the florals over top of a simple Stitched Rectangle panel from Simon, and my card base is made from Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. A white heat embossed sentiment from the Hexagon Greetings stamp set was the perfect finishing touch, along with some Spring Green sequins tucked around the florals.
