Giant Hugs Card Wrap Slimline Card + Simon’s STAMPtember® Blog Party

I always love sending hugs in the mail, especially when I’m apart from the people I love and miss dearly. The idea of being able to send a paper hug was the inspiration behind the new die set that I designed for Simon Says Stamp called Giant Hugs Card Wrap!

Another set I designed for the STAMPtember® release was the Paper Hug stamp and coordinating die set. When creating that set, I designed the sentiments so that they would work for not only the images in the Paper Hug set, but also the Giant Hugs Card Wrap die. I paired a couple of greetings from Paper Hug with my card.

The background behind my hugging arms was made with scraps of colored cardstocks, and I added sequins from Simon’s new Holographic Rainbows mix.

The cool part about the Giant Hugs Card Wrap die is that you can fold the arms at any point to allow the hands to fit on any card size, including A2, A7 and slimline! I hope you will watch my video to see how I created this card!
