3 Ways to Use Simon’s September 2020 Card Kit

One of my favorite times of the month is the reveal of Simon Says Stamp’s card kit! The September 2020 kit has a very colorful vibe to it – I had so much fun creating with the kit, I ended up creating 3 cards with it!
One of the first things I wanted to do with the kit is make a slimline card with the map pattern paper from Vicki Boutin’s Let’s Wander pad. I used the Just Miss You stamp set and stamped the trailing hearts to signify two people apart. A simple sentiment in the corner completed this clean and simple card.
I really love the Sending Smiles die set in the kit and thought it would look adorable nestled inside the paper airplane sheet of Vicki Boutin paper. To accent the paper airplanes on the background, I stamped a paper airplane from Simon’s Home Sweet Home stamp set. If you already got that stamp set, it’s perfect for pairing with this kit!
Also included in the kit are the adorable, Vicki Boutin Let’s Wander mini card and envelopes set! I layered three of them down my card with some of the patterned paper covering the card base. A sentiment from the Just Miss You stamp set and hearts from the Sending Smiles die set were a perfect finishing touch. Inside each of the mini envelopes are small notes that I’m planning on filling out for the recipient to read!
Simon’s September 2020 Card Kit has been such a joy to create with. Be sure to check it out; I think you will have a lot of fun making ‘miss you’ cards for the people in your life!
