Holographic Dragonflies + Simon’s Crafty Hugs Blog Hop
If there is one thing I adore, it’s rainbows! Holographic paper has a glossy shine with a rainbow effect that I simply cannot get enough of! This paper looks amazing on its own, but I feel like it really shines when die cut with the new Simon Says Stamp Etched Dragonfly die!
Today’s post is part of the Simon Says Stamp Crafty Hugs blog hop. If you have already been hopping along, you should have arrived from my talented friend, Cathy Zielske’s blog. All the blog hop details are at the bottom of this post.
This card features some Distress Oxide ink blending in the background, including the new Speckled Egg color! I adore the new color – its a stunning blue with unique gray, blue and green undertones. Completely different than all the the other blue colors in the Distress line. I paired the Speckled Egg with Abandoned Coral, Scattered Straw, and a bit of Bundled Sage.
Silhouetted behind the Etched Dragonfly dies, I stamped a scene from Simon’s Wildflowers stamp set using a combination of Seedless Preserves and Black Soot. Be sure to watch the video above to see exactly how I did it!
