Distress Oxide Blending + Stamping with Simon’s STAMPtember Hero Arts Exclusive

Hello crafty friends! I am back today to share more Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® inspiration, this time using the Hero Arts exclusive!

I’m loving this gorgeous set with the striking silhouette images and scripty sentiments. Recently outside my house I saw a beautiful sunset and it inspired me to create the sunset scene you see on my card!

I started the card by blending Seedless Preserves, Abandoned Coral, Fossilized Amber and Dried Marigold; these were all colors that I saw in the sunset and worked so well together! After creating the background, I stamped florals from the Hero Arts exclusive using Seedless Preserves and Ground Espresso (applied with a blending tool for a smooth ombre effect – be sure to check out the video above to see how I did it!).

I finished things off with a gold embossed greeting, and a splattering of Oxide inks and Finetec watercolors for texture and a “firefly” effect.
