2 Ways to Use Simon’s July Card Kit, Bee Yourself!
Hello friends! I always love when Simon Says Stamp releases their monthly card kits; the kits are always filled with amazing products that can be used together to make many cards. And the best part? Just a few additional supplies are needed to make some awesome projects!
Today I’m sharing 2 unique designs, using products from Simon’s new, July 2019 kit, Bee Yourself and a few extra supplies.
The first card I created with the kit started by adding one of the sheets of The Bee’s Knees patterned paper onto a Sea Glass, A2 card base. Layered on top is a stack of the new Hexagon Element die that Simon released last week; I cut that with the Sunshine cardstock, also included in the kit.
From the Bee Yourself stamp set, I stamped a pair of bees and a heart onto white cardstock, as well as white heat embossed a greeting onto black cardstock. The bees and the heart are colored with Copic markers, and I popped them up off the card with foam tape.
I added the sentiment at an angle and embellished the card with a few of the sequins included in the kit.
The second card I created features some more of those beautiful Bee’s Knees patterned papers on an A2 card base. I stamped the heart trail in Tumbled Glass Oxide Ink on white cardstock and fussy cut it out, layering it onto the pattern papers.
I also stamped and Copic colored a bee from the Bee Yourself stamp set, popping that over the heart trail.
Again I white heat embossed a sentiment from the Bee Yourself stamp set, which I trimmed into a banner and popped up off the card along the lower left corner.
The final touch on this card were a few of those fun, Buzzy Bee sequins!
I hope these two cards have inspired you to create with this BEE-utiful new kit from Simon Says Stamp! Be sure to check out the kit and see more inspiration using it over on the Simon Says Stamp blog!
Thanks for visiting me today; I will be back soon with more to share!
