No Line Coloring with Colored Pencils and Picket Fence Stamps
Hello friends! If you’re like me, you love to create with florals. I was itching to use this Picket Fence Rose Bouquet stamp; this isn’t one of their most newest sets, but its one that has been on my *need* list for a long time just because it is simply gorgeous. I decided to do some no line coloring with this stamp, using my Prismacolor colored pencils.
The roses are stamped onto Toned Gray paper with Fog ink; because I was doing a no-line coloring effect I made sure to use an ink that would be hidden once I added the coloring on top. For coloring, I used my Prismacolor pencils. It took quite a bit of time to color but with any project that takes time, it is always worth it!
Afterwards, I used my Finetec watercolors to add a shimmery, white gold splatter across the coloring.
I really love the Memory Box Big Hello Premiere die and cut it from some Tonic Studios Purple Mist Mirror cardstock; there are a couple layers of white stacked underneath the purple layer to add some dimension to the greeting. I paired that sentiment with a heat embossed greeting from Simon’s Tiny Words stamp set.
I added a final finishing touch on the card by putting a few dots of Cloud 9 Nuvo Dream Drops here and there around the florals. I really love how the drops complement the splatters I had added before.
I hope that this card has inspired you to create with the gorgeous Rose Bouquet stamp from Picket Fence! I will be back again very soon with more ideas to share with you!
