Layered Die Cutting with Birch Press Designs
Hello crafty friends! I have really been enjoying working with my dies of late, and today I have another layered die cut project for you!
This time around, I’m working with the Birch Press Design Issa Snowflake layered die set; these dies are three unique pieces that layer together for a dimensional effect.
Because I die cut from multiple colors of cardstock, I ended up with extra pieces at times. That prompted me to end up making two cards altogether with the dies
I layered all the die cuts together with Simon Says Stamp Craft Tacky glue; this adhesive is perfect for adhering paper together, as it dries quickly and just a small dot holds your pieces in place very well.
The sentiments on each of my cards are from Simon’s Uplifting Sentiments set and Memory Box’s Best Life Typewriter stamp set. Both are white heat embossed onto Moonstone cardstock from Lawn Fawn with Brutus Monroe Alabaster white embossing powder.
I embellished the cards with some gorgeous Ice Cube jewels from Lucy’s Cards; using multiple sizes, I created a pattern around the snowflake to further enhance its delicate appearance.
I hope today’s cards have inspired you to create with the beautiful Issa Snowflake die from Birch Press Designs; I adore these layering dies and always have so much fun putting them together. I find it very relaxing!
Thanks so much for visiting with me today; I will be back again very soon with more inspiration for you!
