Hello creative friends! Have you seen the newest collection of Hero Arts stamps and dies that have been released? I am really excited about a particular stamp; Antique Rose. I saw this at Creativation and fell in love with the illustration. As soon as I got this in my recent Simon Says Stamp order, I couldn’t wait to start creating with it right away!

My cards today feature a layered, Zig Real Brush Marker coloring technique, which brings additionl depth and dimension to these already detailed florals. In the video above, I share the step-by-step process that I took to create this coloring effect.

After coloring the flowers and cutting them out, I adhered them to cardbases that have some script subtly stamped on, using 49 & Market’s 1787 set. The handwriting from this stamp is actually from a real letter, written in French!

Each card also features some gold or silver paint splatters, a Double Stitch Scalloped die cut frame from Memory Box, and greetings from the Antique Rose set. There are even a few Moonshine confetti sequins sprinkled in between the blooms.
