Masking + Watercolor + Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit

Hi friends! Today is the reveal of the brand new Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit, Handwritten Floral Greetings!

This card kit has gorgeous pattern papers, ink colors, coordinating cardstocks, a stamp set, watercolor cards and a water brush. I’ve used the kit to create two cards, which you can check out below!

My first card features a fun way to use the pattern papers that are included; one of the papers had some pretty brush stroke marks along the edges along with some black paint splatters.

I used the new Handwritten Floral Greetings set to stamp some of the solid images onto the areas where the brush strokes are placed. I made sure to stamp these images with inks that matched those brush strokes (Mint Candy, Rosie Cheeks and Goldenlocks).

I also extended the paint splatters all the way down the card, flowing under the sentiment, which is white heat embossed onto the Slate gray cardstock included in the kit.

My other card features the Handwritten Floral Greetings stamp set, as well as watercoloring using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.
