Simple Watercolor Cards + Whimsy Reveal #3
Hello there, thanks so much for stopping by today! I’m excited to share another of my newest Whimsy Stamps designs today, which are the Handmade by Me stamp set and Hand Stitched Rectangles dies.
I love a good sentiment stamp set, and I really love being able to decorate the backside of cards and envelopes using my stamps. It adds an extra bit of customization and “special touch” for the recipient and doesn’t really take that long to do in reality but makes a HUGE impact on the receiver of the card. Who doesn’t love to find something unexpected; in this case, a little encouraging greeting on the backside of the card! This is what inspired me to create the Handmade by Me stamp set.
Today I have a few ideas for you using the Handmade by Me stamps and the Hand Stitched Rectangles dies. In the photo above, you can see how the sentiments from Handmade by Me can be used; and with a bit of masking, you can create multi-colored sentiments too!
Now how about those envelopes? Envelope art has been a trend of late and these are perfect for using on the envelopes you mail your cards in to create easy and custom envelope art of your own with very few supplies! I have been using this set of late on all my envelopes and card backs to add a bit more fun to the cards I mail to my friends!
And of course, these sentiments are perfect for stamping on the front of your cards too! In my video for today, I will show you how I used the sentiments on the watercolor cards I’ve created, as well as share how to create easy, hand painted cards of your very own!
To see the video, be sure to watch it below or over on my YouTube channel. If you enjoy, I would love if you could give it a “thumbs up” and subscribe to my channel. I post new videos every week!
