25 Tags of Christmas with Neat & Tangled

Well hello! For my project today, I have a set of four coordinating tags that can be used to decorate your holiday packages and treat gifts!

I wanted to go with a non-traditional color scheme for these tags; something fresh and happy. So I used the new Bright Baubles stamp set and stamped a bunch of the little ornaments in turquoise, purple, light green, and pinks… with a touch of silver embossing!

The tags are really great for mass producing; to start, I simply die cut a bunch of the tags (I used the new Tag Die from Neat & Tangled’s November release to create mine) and then prepped them all for heat embossing using a powder tool. For the embossing, I used Ranger’s silver embossing powder.

Next came the stamping; I used Altenew Crisp inks for all the colors besides the purple; at the time I made these tags, the purple Altenew ink pads I had ordered hadn’t arrived yet. So to improvise, I used Seedless Preserves distress ink for the purple ornaments. While it isn’t as crisp (pun intended!), since distress inks don’t stamp as well with clear stamps, it sufficed.

I blended some Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar distress inks around the edges of the tags to add some extra color, and also added silver dots with a silver Pilot pen and Wink of Stella clear glitter on the ornaments. To finish the tag off, I tied some silver bow wire around a turquoise ribbon on each tag.

I just love the bright and happy colors of these tags, don’t you? Not sure why, but it makes me think of peppermints and wintertime! :)
