Patterned Paper Backgrounds
Hello everyone! I am back today to share a fun way to use up some of those patterned papers you have hanging around your stash.
I’ve noticed many crafters (myself included) have been drifting away from using patterned papers in their card designs, and that is really sad! There are so many gorgeous papers out there, and I have plenty in my stash as well.
So today’s video is going to share with you a fun way to incorporate pattern papers into your cards as a beautiful focal point that really shines in your design.
If you are looking for the “hello” die cut file, you can visit my shop to purchase the digital file. The download includes three file formats; JPEG, PNG and SVG.
And if you want more inspiration for using your patterned papers, be sure to stay tuned and subscribe to my blog and YouTube channel, as I have another video coming up soon that features another fun technique!
Thanks so much for stopping by! :)

how awesome it is! I love using pattern papers in my cards.. but yeah you are right.. CAS and stamping is trending now a days..
Your idea’s are always the best ;)
Such a gorgeous card and design! I agree with you about not seeing many cardmakers using patterned papers. I see a lot more CAS designs nowadays. I really love how you add layers and additional touches to the patterned paper. That was very cool! I love that technique!
What a beautiful card and an incredibly inspiring technique! I would’ve never thought in a million years to add oomph to my patterned paper by coloring the images already there! Genius! Genius, I say! I like how this allows me to use my stash, yet still lets me “get my hands dirty” with a unique technique. Kudos to an excellent idea and an incredible finished product. Thanks so much for sharing it with us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
So beautiful!!!
Love how you jazzed up the Patterned paper for your card.
Actually the fact that we are moving away from PP doesn’t make me sad really, it actually makes me happy because it means we have such beautiful options in stamps now that we can create lovely Backgrounds we are happy with :D and the really great thing…we have both options now…win, win :D
Thanks for sharing your lovely card!
Wow this is so pretty! All the details you added make a big difference!
HELLO GORGEOUS!! I love that you made that Pattern Paper your own by coloring and adding extra layers:)
