Hello Beautiful Girl

Hi Everyone! I am so glad you’ve stopped by today, as I am sharing a card I created for a very dear friend of mine who is having a little girl this month!

Because I wanted to make this card special,  I customized it by adding the little baby’s name inside the wreath. You could do this for you cards too; simply use some letter stamps, such as the Bella Letter stamp set I used here, and spell out the name for the baby. I think it adds a really fantastic, personal touch for such a special card! :)

The images I used to create the card are from the Mama Elephant Charmed stamp set; I stamped the wreath and ribbon onto a cardstock panel that I die cut using the Stitched Rectangles die set from Simon Says Stamp. I went for a non-traditional, festive color scheme for this card, and colored them with Copic markers, as I thought this would make the card even more “fun”. I used my craft knife to fussy cut an opening inside the wreath.

On a separate piece of cardstock, I stamped, colored and fussy cut the owl, tree branch and sentiment banner as well, before attaching them onto my panel. The word “Mary” is heat embossed onto vellum using the Bella Letters stamp set, and tucked behind the wreath. I then layered the panel onto some scalloped pink cardstock before adhering everything onto my card base.

For some finishing details, I added Wink of Stella glitter to the wreath, Glossy Accents to the bow, some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, and a little purple heart that is covered in both Wink of Stella glitter and Glossy Accents.
