You Are Married Shaker Card
Happy Monday! I have a sweet wedding shaker card to share with you today, featuring the cute Cake Topper Kiss digi stamp from the Greeting Farm!
I absolutely adore this digi stamp, it is so sweet! I printed it out onto some white cardstock and colored it in with colored pencils. I added some extra details to the image with some Wink of Stella clear glitter and Glossy Accents, just to give it a bit more “pop”. Once the image was dry, I then fussy cut it out and set it aside while I worked on the rest of my card.
For the background of my shaker, I used a polka dot stencil and applied some Wendy Vecchi translucent embossing paste onto the white cardstock panel; I then covered the wet paste with some glitter and let it dry.
My shaker material inside is made up of some hearts that I punched from pink and red cardstock and silver glitter paper, as well as some iridescent sequins.
I die cut the frame for my shaker using the Spellbinders Pierced Rectangles die set, and attached this to an acetate panel. On the acetate, I stamped the words “you are” from the Penny Black Inc. Betsy Bluebell stamp set with some black ink.
Once my shaker material was placed in the middle of the background panel, I put the shaker elements together and adhered the entire thing directly onto my A2 card base.
I white heat embossed the word “married” from the Simon Says Stamp Married stamp set, onto some Cotton Candy cardstock. I cut the cardstock into a banner and adhered it to my card, along with the kissing couple. For a final finishing touch, I added an enamel heart into the middle of their hands, and this completed the design!
I liked how the design ended up working out, and I love the sparkly shaker element behind the bride and groom! I hope you’ve enjoyed and I’m so happy you stopped by today! :)
