Layered Stamping with New Inks + STAMPtember 2021 Blog Party!
Have you seen the new Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® release? In this HUGE collection of products are 15 brand-spanking-new inks that are a DREAM to stamp with!
I have been part of the team that has been developing these Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pads over the past year and it’s been a labor of love! To see them in all their glory and ready to be stamped–it just makes me giddy! Today I am using many of the new colors, along with a couple of new, STAMPtember® stamp sets to make this sweet card.
The houses are from the Printmaking Houses stamp set, which features multiple pieces that layer together to create a super-cute neighborhood. I stamped the houses with Surf, Ocean, Pearfection, Celery, Peachy and Mandarin.
Many of the houses feature little hearts that I die cut with the Mini Hearts Party die set; I colored pieces of white cardstock with the Pawsitively Saturated Inks (Sunbeam and Mandarin) before die cutting.
This card is simple but super cute and would be perfect for sending to loved ones you are missing. I plan on doing just that with these cards–I’ll be mailing them in Orange Peel envelopes from Simon. The orange color matched perfectly with the Mandarin ink.

Dear Nina –
This card is cute and I love how you kept it to three color groups. Those new ink colors are very good in their color families and I think I will give the foam pads a go. They look superb!
Oscar is a sweetheart – so cute! So playful! I have four of those four-legged wonders, so I am very aware of how ordinary things – disguised as cat toys – can disappear. Not to be a downer, but do be careful about not letting him be unsupervised w/ that twine. My parents’ cat Pumpkin had a crocheted cat toy that unraveled as he played with it, bit it, etc. He ended up needing a $900 surgery and nearly died. All that crocheted yarn ended up in his stomach. I would never want anything to harm the cutey-patootie Oscar, so please do monitor that he does not bite off a hunk of that twine and ingest it.
Again, terrific card and super-cute cat!

Sweet little houses! Love this.
Adorable stamp set and love the card you made with it. Recently had a realtor friend mention she’d love some cards for thank you notes to clients and think this set is going to be perfect for that! TFS!
Love all the bright and cheerful colors.
Such cute houses! Great job on creating such a colorful card.
Wonderful way to give a great look to the CAS houses.

Beautiful colors – do they match SSS cardstock? I wish they would come in cubes, too, as I have limited space and budget.
Love the card you and Oscar made. Of course, he has to help you. Thanks for demonstrating the new inks. They look wonderful. As I have little space here, I wish they came in cubes but heard on the live that they won’t be in the making for awhile.
Such a cute card and those new inks are yummy!!
Love your cards!
So cute!! Love the tiny hearts on the houses!
