Slimline Kitty Christmas Card + Tim Holtz STAMPtember® Exclusive
One of my most-favorite sets from STAMPtember® is definitely the Tim Holtz exclusive! How awesome are these cats?!? You know how much I adore cat stamps (and my own crew of 4 kitties), so when I saw this collaboration set, I literally squealed with delight! I’m creating a big slimline card with the set, and of course I colored all the cats to look like mine. :)
I used Copic markers to color in the kitties, cut them out and stacked them onto a slimline card panel. I did a bit of Distress Oxide blending in the background, with Wild Honey and a Tim Holtz dot stencil for the upper part, and Gathered Twigs for the “ground”.
Each of the cats have Glossy Accents on their eyes, and I decorated certain items such as the Christmas lights, the stocking and the sprig (held by the bird) with a variety of liquid and glitter embellishments.
There are so many fabulous sentiments in the set, it was hard to choose! I finally settled on “meowy Christmas” – simple, classy and perfect!
