Layered Die Cutting with Glitter + Simon’s You Are Loved Hop

The cards I created today feature the Windows to My Heart die, along with Simon’s new Simple Sentiments stamp set. My idea was to fill the windows with glitter paper, and I used a pink, purple and silver. For a layered effect, I popped the window panel up off my card and adhered the hearts recessed into the background.
These glitter paper colors paired so well with Simon’s new, Girl’s Best Friend sequin mix! These sequins have some holographic-style confetti pieces that really draw out the colors in the glitter.
I love the playful greetings in the Simple Sentiments set; to go with the vertical design and the three rows of hearts, I white embossed three of the sentiments to layer across the card.

I love the use of glitter paper for this card, as well as the colors you chose. Pink, purple and silver are a GREAT alternative to the classic red, and I prefer using them myself. I think these colors are just a bit more FUN.
BTW, I love this new SSS heart die. It is definitely on my wish list. ;)

What a great way to make a relatively simple die cut really special! The glitter cardstock is so much fun, and I like how you used the sequins to emphasize the different layers of your card. I also really like how you put the small words slightly wonky; it helps give the card more movement. Thanks for sharing with us!
