Embellishing Die Cuts for a Snowy Christmas Card

In the new Cozy Hugs release from Simon Says Stamp, there were a few dies and embossing folders that really caught my eye. This card uses the Friendly Birds embossing folder and die set along with the Scalloped Birdhouse and Budding Branches die sets.

With cardstock and ink, I turned these simple dies into custom pieces that really capture the holiday spirit! I also added embellishments and subtle touches, including Mica Flakes for snow, Tim Holtz Christmas Droplets for the berries, and a snowy backdrop with the Layering Snowflakes stencil from Simon and Snowfall paste from Tim Holtz.
