Embossing Folders 2 Ways + Simon’s Let’s Chill Release Hop
Embossing folders are one of my favorite products to use because they add amazing dimension and texture to a card! I am sharing two different cards and techniques using new embossing folders and Detail Blending Brushes from Simon Says Stamp’s Let’s Chill release!
This bold and bright card uses the new Sunflower Field embossing folder, which does have a coordinating die. I didn’t use the die for this card, but rather did a bit of intricate ink blending using Simon’s new Detail Blending Brushes.
These brilliant butterflies are from the new Graceful Butterfly embossing folder, which does have coordinating dies and I used them to cut the embossed, winged creatures out. I ink blended them with Pawsitively Saturated Ink; the Detail Blending Brushes allowed me to added subtle blending over the raised areas of the embossing and that created some great contrast!
