I love the look of no line coloring, and I thought it would be fun to use the Merry & Bright stamp set as a base to color with my Prismacolor pencils! The wreath frame is stamped with Fog ink and I colored over everything, adding a bit of shading with an extra pencil or two.
After cutting the image out, I layered the frame onto a panel that I dry embossed with Pinkfresh Studio’s Geo Leaf die; I also added stitching detail with the Wonky Rectangle dies from Simon Says Stamp. The beautiful greetings are from the Simple Joy stamp set, and I embossed them with Brutus Monroe embossing powders.
For a bit of embellishing, I tied a bow around the bottom of the card. I also sprinkled Christmas Magic and Peach Beach sequins around the wreath for extra color and to help fill things in a bit more.
I love the simple, yet festive feel of this card! Because the coloring is so detailed and pretty, I wanted to be sure to keep the rest of the design pretty clean and classy.
