Embossing plates are sheets of metal that have a design etched into them; when you run this plate through your die cutting machine, it creates a embossed (or debossed if you use the backside!) into your paper. I demonstrate this to you in the video. You’ll also learn how you can step up the embossing a bit by adding a little ink brushed over the raised design the embossing plate creates. For my ink blending I used my favorite Inkylicious ink duster brushes.

I also showcase how you can use only two markers to create a cool shaded effect! In the video I use Zig Clean Color markers, but you can use any watercolor markers you have on hand.

Your card is so beautiful! I don’t normally use purple and I’m not sure why….I always love it when I see the color pop on other people’s projects. Today, I’ll make something with purple! Thanks for the inspiration! 💜
