Embossing Plate Background + Two Color Watercolor + Simon Hop
Hello crafters! Welcome to my post for the Simon Says Stamp One of a Kind release blog hop! I hope you’re gaining lots of fabulous inspiration as you’ve hopped along to the many different stops along the way.
Embossing plates are sheets of metal that have a design etched into them; when you run this plate through your die cutting machine, it creates a embossed (or debossed if you use the backside!) into your paper. I demonstrate this to you in the video. You’ll also learn how you can step up the embossing a bit by adding a little ink brushed over the raised design the embossing plate creates. For my ink blending I used my favorite Inkylicious ink duster brushes.
I also showcase how you can use only two markers to create a cool shaded effect! In the video I use Zig Clean Color markers, but you can use any watercolor markers you have on hand.
There is a lot of inspiration to see in the video, which I hope you will check out below! Thanks for stopping by today and visiting with me… I’ll be back on Monday with a new video for you!

SHARE YOUR PROJECTS!
Did you know that Simon has inspiration galleries on their blog that you can access but also ADD to??? Anytime you make a project using Simon exclusive products from a certain release, be sure to add it to the gallery that corresponds with that release! We all love seeing what everyone creates and this is a great way to find new artists to follow. You can find the link to the One of a Kind release gallery HERE.
