Neat & Tangled Reveal Day #1

Well hello there! So glad you are joining me today for day one of the Neat & Tangled release week! This week we are showcasing the newest products for March and today I am featuring the new Better Together stamp and die set!

So onto today’s card! I love the little kids in this Better Together set; talk about cutie-patootie!! I wanted to use them all in my card, so I stamped them each out onto white cardstock in black ink. Then I colored them with my Copics… the colors I used are listed out below:

• skin on all kids: E0000, E00, E02
• boy with fox: B32, B45, B97 (pants); R17, R46, R56, C7 (shirt); E57, E47, E29 (hair); C5, C7 (shoes); YR15, YR68, E50, E30 (fox)
• girl with dog: Y00, Y11, Y21, Rv00, RV10 (dress); Rv00, RV10, C5, C7 (shoes and socks); E35, E17, E18 (hair)
• girl with owl: RV00, Rv10, BG10, BG15, C1 (dress & bow); BG10, BG15, BG53 (boots); E37, E57, E47, E50, E30 (owl)
• bear: E30, E31, E33, E50
• hearts: R46

After all the coloring was done, I added a few white details using a gel pen and then die cut the kids using the coordinating Better Together dies.

Because the coloring took quite a bit of time and I wanted the kids to be the main focus of the card, I chose to keep the rest of the design clean and simple. I die cut a pink frame using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle dies. The sentiment is from the same Better Together stamp set and is stamped in Soft Granite and Intense Black dye inks.

The kids and hearts are layered onto the card with foam tape and I added a twine bow along the top of the card panel to finish it all off!
