Peek-a-Boo Shaker

Hello everyone! So glad you’ve stopped by today as I am here to share a card featuring some of the newest Neat & Tangled stamps and dies!

I love shaker cards, and for my card today, I have chosen to use Neat & Tangled’s awesome, new Wholehearted die to create a “peek-a-boo” shaker card.

I started off by die cutting a piece of white cardstock using the Wholehearted die and a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die. I also die cut the Wholehearted die from some gold glitter cardstock as well. On the white panel, I folded over all the little half hearts and stuck a bit of glue behind each one to hold them down.

Using a plastic page protector, I sealed all three edges (you can use a Fuse tool or even clear tape to do this) and then filled it with sequins from the Gilded Rose mix by Lucy’s Cards. Once filled, I attached it  to the backside of my white cardstock panel (die cut from the Wholehearted die) and layered both pieces onto a white card base.

With the gold glitter hearts I die cut using the Wholehearted die, I attached those onto the card using foam tape. This provided a nice pop of color to the front of the card and also ties in with the sentiment, which is from the Neat & Tangled Heart of Gold stamp set. The sentiment was gold heat embossed onto vellum.
