Newton’s Nook October Release On Sale and Copic Coloring Technique Video

Hello Everyone! Stopping by today to let you know that the October release from Newton’s Nook is available now! I also have a short video to share with you featuring a coloring technique I used in my card for the Newton’s Christmas Cuddles stamp/die set reveal!

I am a big fan of adding contrast to my cards; it makes everything stand out so much more and also brings a lot more realistic feel to the design. The key to bringing contrast into your cards is to embrace the dark colors and the shadows. These two elements will bring depth to your coloring and take your images to the next level.

I’ve got a  quick-technique video of the coloring process I took in coloring these little kittens from the Newton’s Christmas Cuddles stamp set. Keep in mind that my light-source was from the front, so naturally most of the backsides of the kittens would be in the shadows.
