Newton’s Nook Reveal Day #1 – Newton Loves Coffee

Hello Everyone, and welcome to day #1 of the Newton’s Nook Designs September release week! Today we are revealing the adorable Newton Loves Coffee stamp set, and let me tell you, this set is SO CUTE! There are so many neat images, and the sentiments are perfect for any type of card.

 

 

For my card, I’ve chosen to make a cute shaker, using the mugs as a fun and colorful background.

 

 

I started off by stamping all of them, along with my cat, in Memento ink. I then colored all of the images with Copic markers and fussy cut them out.

I created the shaker by die cutting the circle frame using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles and Stitched Rectangles die sets (I did partial die cutting for the Stitched Rectangles to create a square panel.  My shaker was then filled with Pretty Pink Posh sequins (Pink Blush, Sparkling clear, Ballerina, Amethyst and Orchid).

 

 

When finishing off the card, I really wanted to do something different; so I decided to die cut some glitter paper using a Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 3 die…. and I love how it turned out!  Stitched dies are my most favorite because they add a really nice finishing touch to your cards.
