Simon Says Anything Goes

Hello! I am so happy you’ve stopped by today, as I am guesting over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge blog for the Anything Goes challenge! It’s been a bit quiet on my blog here this past week, but for good reason! I have many great surprises to share in the next week, so be sure to stop back!

 

 

This week we are showcasing Hero Arts products, and I have a shaped, tri-fold card to share, which I have created using the Fox Says stamp and die set.

 

 

To start off in creating the card base,  I scored a 4 3/4″ by 9 3/4″piece  of cardstock at 3 1/4″ intervals (total of three times. With the Mama Elephant Landscape Trio dies, I then did some partial die cutting to create my shaped flaps; a sloped edge for the front panel and cloud edges on the middle and back panels.

With the Fox Says set, I stamped the sleeping mama and baby foxes onto white cardstock and colored them with Copics; the foxes were then fussy cut out.  I also stamp and heat embossed a sentiment, also from that same set, onto the middle panel of my tri-fold card,  and colored the word “you” with Copics.

 

 

I added a cream colored slope on top of the front tri-fold panel, and using the My Favorite Things Grassy Fields die set, I die cut some grass from green cardstock and layered it on top and behind the panel. Some shading was added with my Copics.

On the middle and back panels, I used some Faded Jeans distress ink to create some sky. I adhered another cloud die cut to the back panel, lining it up with the middle one so you cannot see it when the card is fully closed. A sun, die cut from the Fox Says set, is layered behind the clouds on the back panel.

 

 

To finish everything up, I added some Wink of Stella glitter to the sun and grass, and some pink enamel hearts to the middle tri-fold panel.
